Janet Mogridge
Professional Qualifications
Janet Mogridge is a qualified Specialist Children’s OT, Sensory Integration Practitioner and Certified Sensory Attachment Therapist.
She has over 30 years of experience working with children and young people, including 20 years in the NHS.
Her experience focuses on meaningful activities that affect children and young people’s ability to participate in daily activities.
Janet has worked in specialist settings for children with physical, social, Autistic Spectrum Disorder , attention difficulties and sensory needs.
Janet led the preschool OT assessment and intervention, working as part of a multi disciplinary team.
She has worked in the NHS for 20 years and during this time delivered assessment and treatment packages for children with a range of challenges participating in daily life activities.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Occupational Therapy
- Certified Sensory Attachment Therapist
- Sensory Integration Practitioner
- A member of RCOT ( Royal College of Occupational Therapy)
- Registered with HCPC ( Health and Care Professions Council)
- Janet maintains her Professional Continuing Development (CPD)
As an Occupational Therapist, Janet’s focus is on helping children in being able to take part in meaningful, daily activities. Activities you may want help with are:
- Self-care, dressing, washing, feeding
- Poor coordination
- Handwriting
- Play
- Sensory differences
