I am a Specialist Children’s Occupational Therapist, Sensory Integration Practitioner and Certified Sensory Attachment Therapist. I work within the Stamford and Peterborough area.
I have learnt from experience that being outdoors is a great way to be creative and to settle the mind by focusing on nature.
Since my childhood I have loved being outdoors and spent many happy hours exploring the natural world. When I had my own family there was lots of laughter as well as muddy boots, grazes and dirty clothes! Nature and pets were always our family ‘go to’ to relieve any tensions.
My love of Occupational Therapy and awareness of the opportunities to develop skills whilst being immersed in nature has led to this exciting venture of creating the Wellbeing Orchard and the opportunity to offer assessment and therapeutic intervention for children and young people
